And Fernando’s Kaffee is also known for being a quiet place in which travelers and locals can recharge with the finest “drugs” on Earth. And so, energized by high quality coffee and chocolate, they continue exploring and learning around Antigua. In fact our patio has been the setting of many successful Spanish study sessions, nurturing get-togethers with friends, exciting planning for upcoming trips, and more.
We offer delicious hot chocolate for our cacao “users”. It is prepared with the house Cocoa Mix, which is a combination of cocoa and grated chocolate (100% cacao). Our baristas gracefully turn it into true choco-latte art. More heavy chocolate users will be pairing the hot chocolate with our classic chocolate cake to get their favorite combination: chocolate with more chocolate.
Our customers also come by to have delicious breakfast at any time of the day. Some of the favorites are the Desayuno Típico, which is a delicious and nostalgic Guatemalan meal; and the sweet crepes prepared with our chocolate and pepitoria spread, which is a unique product made with local ingredients. You can find several options, such as omelettes, granola, several gluten free options, and delicious author’s breakfasts to start your day right. You can also have lunch at any time of the day, like our big and baked empanadas paired with salad.
You’ll get to enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables juiced on the spot. These natural juices will boost up your energy in a natural and healthy way; no milk, no water and no sugar needed.
